Overview

The Paradigm Challenge is a global competition that invites students to use kindness, creativity, and collaboration to solve real-life problems. Participants are encouraged to develop innovative ideas to address issues such as home fires, waste reduction, personal health, food security, and biodiversity.

Coverage

The top 100 entries win prizes, with the top entry in each age division receiving a 4-day/3-night trip to Los Angeles to attend the Prize Ceremony and compete for the grand prize of up to $100,000.

Eligibility

The challenge is open to students aged 4 to 18 years old worldwide. Ethiopian students are eligible to participate.

Requirements

Applicants may work individually or in teams of any size. Entries can take many forms, including posters, videos, inventions, public messages, community events, websites, or mobile apps.

How to apply

Interested students should visit the official Project Paradigm website to register and submit their project ideas. No sensitive personal information is required for initial submission.

Notes

Entries are evaluated based on effectiveness, feasibility, originality, presentation, and collaboration. The current deadline for submissions is May 1, 2027.
