The Murdoch University Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarship is a prestigious, merit-based award for international students pursuing Master’s by research or Doctoral (PhD) research degrees in Australia. Coverage

Successful candidates receive an annual living allowance of A$37,000. Funding duration is up to 2 years for Master’s research and up to 3.5 years for Doctoral research. Some recipients may also receive health insurance coverage.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a first-class or upper second-class (H2A) honors degree, a Master’s degree with a significant thesis component, or equivalent. Candidates without an honors degree must provide evidence of a major thesis (approx. 6 months duration) or equivalent research experience. Required documents include a completed online application, academic transcripts/certificates, CV, research proposal, referee reports, and proof of English language proficiency.
