The Lester B. Pearson International Student Scholarships are the University of Toronto's most prestigious awards for international students, recognizing academic excellence, leadership, and creativity. Approximately 37 students are selected annually to join this global community.

The scholarship is fully funded, covering tuition, books, incidental fees, and full residence support for four years of undergraduate study.

Eligibility

Applicants must be international students (non-Canadian requiring a study permit) currently in their final year of senior secondary school or have graduated no earlier than June 2026. Students already attending post-secondary studies are not eligible.

Requirements

Applicants must be nominated by their high school. Schools must apply to participate in the nomination process if they have not done so previously. Students must also apply for admission to an undergraduate program at the University of Toronto.
