The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship is the University of Toronto's most prestigious award for international students, recognizing academic achievement, creativity, and leadership potential. Coverage: The scholarship is fully funded, covering tuition, books, incidental fees, and full residence support for four years of undergraduate study. Eligibility: Open to international students (non-Canadian) from any country. Applicants must be in their final year of secondary school or have graduated no earlier than June 2024. Students already attending post-secondary studies are not eligible. Requirements: Candidates must be nominated by their high school. Schools must apply to participate in the nomination process. Applicants must also apply for an undergraduate degree program at the University of Toronto. How to apply: 1. Ask your school counselor or principal if your school is eligible to nominate you. 2. Your school must submit a nomination by October 9, 2026. 3. Apply for an undergraduate program at the University of Toronto by October 16, 2026. 4. Once nominated and admitted, you will receive access to the formal scholarship application. Notes: The scholarship is highly competitive, with approximately 37 scholars selected annually. Studies must commence in September 2027.
