Overview

The WTO Internship Programme offers postgraduate students and recent graduates from WTO member countries the opportunity to gain professional experience at the WTO headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. Interns work in various divisions including trade policy, law, finance, IT, and communications.

Coverage

Interns receive a daily stipend of CHF 60. Note that travel expenses to and from Geneva are not covered, and interns are responsible for arranging their own mandatory medical health insurance in Switzerland.

Eligibility

Applicants must be nationals of a WTO member state (Ethiopia is a WTO member). Candidates must be between 21 and 30 years of age.

Requirements

Applicants must have completed their undergraduate studies and be currently enrolled in or have recently completed a postgraduate degree (Master's or PhD). Selection is based on merit, academic qualifications, and relevant expertise.

Notes
